2020 XTERRA Laguna Beach Cancelled
It is with great disappointment that we must inform you we are canceling this year’s XTERRA Laguna Beach event. We considered a variety of options implementing social distance measures, virtual racing, and an honor system. And while each has its merits, it would not be a true XTERRA experience that we are committed to provide each and every one of you.
All registered athletes will be forwarded to the September 12, 2021 event. If you do have extenuating financial circumstances please do not hesitate to contact us at [email protected] by August 31st to request a refund. Like many other businesses, our company has been hit quite hard by the pandemic and we are keeping a positive attitude. We encourage you to stay committed to participating in this event in 2021. We promise it to be a good one!
If you are looking for ways to stay in shape, and stay involved with the Global XTERRA community during these times, definitely check out Rally Around XTERRA Planet, which goes through August 13. This is a collection of dynamic challenges attempting to circumnavigate planet earth as many times as possible!
We also encourage everyone to get outside (in a socially distance responsible fashion) and enjoy CA State Parks, the trails and the beach.
Until we can get together next year and enjoy some racing, dirt and beer, please be safe and take care of yourself and others.
